Casual mountain bike around Military Reserve in the foothills above Idaho Elks.  No drop ride.

Meet at 5:30pm.

The Weiser River Trail is an old railroad bed converted into a dirt and gravel public recreation trail. Fat tires and helmets required. Wildlife often seen along the trail include deer, elk, heron, and wild turkey. The setting in the lower (southern) part of the canyon is rolling hills and open canyons topped with black lava cliffs. Riders might choose a half-day, 20-mile round trip with children or a full-day, 50-miler straight north to waiting vehicles
