We're a
new club founded in Boise in January, 2007. More than an outings club, IMR
focuses on outdoor activities and in helping people enjoy the outdoors safely
and responsibly.
Enjoy a wealth of regularly scheduled trips and training classes. Count on a
group of friends with similiar experience levels to join you in the outdoors.

Whoop Um Up Snowshoe
We’ll head up to the Whoop Um Up Park n Ski area 18 miles north of Idaho City where friendly dogs are welcome. We’ll enjoy the views of Whoop Um Up and Upper Lamar trail, and will also take a look at the Wagon Trail heading to the Beaver Creek Cabin. About 5 miles/900feet. We’ll carpool; call to register and for details.

Banff Film Festival
This runs 3 days: Feb 1-3. Enjoy multiple outdoor films, from extreme outdoor sports to documentaries to conservation-themed films. The Egyptian Theatre is hosting the films. Doors open at 6pm, films start at 7pm. The Bosie Nordic Foundation sponsors the film festival -- http://www.bogusbasinnordicgroup.org/ . Tickets through www.idahotickets.com ($15).

Lead a Trip!
Interested in leading trips? If you the desire to help others learn about
favorite hikes/activities you know of, and have a little experience or wish to
get experience leading hikes/activities, we'd like your help! We are a club of
volunteers
Volunteer Trip Leaders are the backbone of IMR. We offer Leader Training and
First Aid--both of which are wonderful outdoor skills even if you don't lead

Go Take a Hike
IMR trips and meetings (trip expenses may be incurred) are free to the public.
Check our calendar, find an activity
that interests you, and come outside and play!
IMR holds meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at the
MK Nature Center Education Building, from 7-9pm (meetings are from
September through May--in June, July, August we will have potluck picnics.
