We’ll hike the South side of the Snake River from Swan Falls Dam downstream to Celebration Park.  The 9.5 mile hike in rolling terrain is mostly on established trail but some off trail hiking will be necessary.  A shuttle vehicle will take us back to Swan Falls at the completion of the trip.  The low elevation Snake River plain is generally dry and pleasant in mid winter, but bad weather will force cancelation.  Expect to see wildlife including waterfowl, raptors, and deer, as well as a few scattered Indian petroglyphs.  Well behaved dogs under control are welcome.  Not recommended for children due to distance.
