Eight Mile Mountain, Class C, Exploratory.  8 miles/3,300' vertical.  Eight Mile Mountain stands at 7870'  overlooks the S. Fork of the Payette to its south.  It is a pretty "peaklet" that is a walkup (not technical climbing).  The Bonneville hotsprings are nearby, so participants may wish to bring swimsuits for a dip afterward (note: there might be nudity with other soakers, but IMR members are asked to bring swimsuits or soak when IMR members are done to respect privacy; this hotspring is fairly family friendly, so nudity tends to by more sporatic).  This is designed as a daytrip at this time, but could be turned into an optional overnight.  Other hikes nearby include the Blue Jay trail and Tenmile Ridge to the south and other hikes near the Eightmile TH.  Approximately 90 minute drive from Boise.  For more information, contact Colls 853-5368 (don't worry if it takes a few days for me to get back with you).  NOTE: there is a possibility the date of this trip may change based on trip leader's travel schedule.
