Paddling enthusiast Tom Chelstrom will take us down the Boise River. The River is far more than just a tubing trip from Barber to Ann Morrison Park, or a play wave and pending whitewater park; it can be explored all the way to its confluence with the Snake in small craft (canoes, inflatable kayaks, river kayaks, pack rafts) with adventurous paddlers willing to make a few portages.
Time and location: 7 pm at the Trophy Room at the Idaho Fish and Game Headquarters, 600 South Walnut, Boise, Idaho. Park behind the building (on the east side).
IMR monthly meetings are a way to hear about topics of interest to Idaho outdoor enthusiasts. Starting in 2017, meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month and are free and open to the public. (Of course, we shamelessly hope you like what you see and will join the club--but we also don’t pressure you!) We provide outing updates, announcements, and have a 45-minute presentation followed by discussion and/or social time so people have a chance to meet one another.
