Spring Conditioning Hike

Now that our skis are back in the garage it is time to shift our attention towards warm weather activities. Join Scott Arnold on a series of local conditioning hikes intended to ready you for your favorite backpacking destinations. These hikes will take place in late April and run into early June and will allow the participant to build strength, stamina, and enjoy the springtime flora of the Boise foothills.

Water, snacks, sturdy trail footwear, and clothing appropriate to the season and conditions are highly recommended. As these trips will include Class A and B hikes, you can expect that the elevation gain will vary from 500 ft. to about 3,000 ft. Hikes will range from 5 to 12 miles in distance and will require between 3 to 6 hours of walking, depending on the trail selected and the readiness of the participants.
